Update as of 9/5/2020: We had 1 staff member to test positive during our routine surveillance testing (staff member was asymptomatic) and 1 outside contractor who tested elsewhere. We do not have any positive residents at this time. We will be testing residents on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
On 10/22/2020, Kentucky’s Long-Term Care Facility COVID-19 County Indicator Map that is updated every 2 weeks went from Orange to Red for Jefferson County. Due to our county changing from Orange to Red we will now increase our routine surveillance testing of staff from once a week to twice a week. Due to the timing of the testing of the residents related to the 2 positive staff members on 10/12/2020 we will be doing one more round of resident testing on Sunday (10/25/2020). If we do not have any positive residents or staff we will continue the surveillance testing on staff only.
We will continue to offer Skype visits, FaceTime visits, WhatsApp visits, phone calls and window visits–please call 502-267-7403 during the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm to schedule and we would be happy to assist you. Our highest priority is the health and safety of our residents and staff.

On 11/12/2020 we received Positive Covid-19 test results back for 14 residents. Families/residents was notified and residents was placed in isolation following CDC guidelines.

To date 61 residents have taken the first round of the Covid-19 vaccine. The date for the second round of vaccination will be on 1/17. Along with staff participation and the effectiveness of the vaccine, we hope that this will eliminate future Covid outbreaks. Let’s get Vaccinated together!
