    We will utilize this website for all of our COVID-19 updates, and reporting of our positives for residents and staff. We will inform everyone by phone of any initial positives but afterwards, this will be our official COVID-19 reporting mechanism. Thank you for your support throughout this pandemic. We are currently COVID-19 free.

    Due to the rate of new COVID-19 cases in our state and county we are suspending in person visitation effective 7/21/2020. We will continue to offer Skype visits, FaceTime visits, WhatsApp visits, phone calls and window visits–please call 502-267-7403 during the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm to schedule if you have not already done so and we would be happy to assist you. Our highest priority is the health and safety of our residents and staff.

    Update as of 8/12/2020: We currently do not have any COVID-19 cases for staff or residents.

    As a reminder: We will be utilizing this website to keep our residents, families and staff updated on our current COVID-19 situation.     Update as of 8/21/2020: We identified a positive COVID-19 during our new hire screening process today.

    Update as of 9/5/2020: We had 1 staff member to test positive during our routine surveillance testing (staff member was asymptomatic) and 1 outside contractor who tested elsewhere. We do not have any positive residents at this time. We will be testing residents on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

    On 10/22/2020, Kentucky’s Long-Term Care Facility COVID-19 County Indicator Map that is updated every 2 weeks went from Orange to Red for Jefferson County. Due to our county changing from Orange to Red we will now increase our routine surveillance testing of staff from once a week to twice a week. Due to the timing of the testing of the residents related to the 2 positive staff members on 10/12/2020 we will be doing one more round of resident testing on Sunday (10/25/2020). If we do not have any positive residents or staff we will continue the surveillance testing on staff only.

    On 11/12/2020 we received Positive Covid-19 test results back for 14 residents. Families/residents was notified and residents was placed in isolation following CDC guidelines.
    Due to our county being Red we will continue our routine surveillance testing of staff and residents to twice a week. We will follow all other set CDC guidelines.

    On 11/13/2020 we received positive Covid-19 test results back on 6 residents. Families/residents was notified and residents was placed in isolation following CDC guidelines.
    On 11/13/2020 we received positive Covid-19 test results back on 7 staff members.

    Due to our county being Red we will continue our routine surveillance testing of staff and residents to twice a week. We will follow all other set CDC guidelines.

    On 11/16/2020 we had two residents test positive for Covid-19 today. Families/residents was notified and residents was placed in isolation following CDC guidelines.

    On 11/17/2020 we had 17 residents test positive for Covid-19. Families /residents was notified and residents was placed in isolation following CDC guidelines.

    On 11/17/2020 we had 6 staff members test positive for Covid-19. Contact was made and they will be following proper protocol.

    On 11/19 We had a total of 2 staff members that tested positive for Covid-19. They have been contacted and will be following proper protocol.

    On 11/19 We had a total of 4 residents that tested positive for Covid-19. Listed residents/family members have been notified.

    On 11/23 have had 5 residents test positive for Covid-19. Test was performed on 11/23, results received late 11/25.
    All residents have been placed in Covid isolation and families have been notified.

    On 11/26 we received results on 5 staff members that are Covid-19 Positive. All staff have been notified and are following proper protocol.
